Solar energy and its benefits

One of the things that is rising during this kind of economy is the price of energy. Oil and gas prices are rising. And the price of electricity is not spared from this trend.More people are feeling the impact of these increased costs. So naturally people are thinking of ways to earn savings in these regions.  For gas costs some people are choosing to drive less.  For electrical costs people are trying another source of energy called solar energy. So in this article we are looking at the ways people are getting solar energy.

Obviously the most obvious way to get solar energy is to have a solar energy system installed. But for most people nowadays this options is an expensive one.  So what people have been doing is looking for places where they can find cheap solar panels. There are places they can find these inexpensive solar panels. This has resulted in savings of thousands of dollars.

Another way that has helped people save even more money is learning how to build a solar panel themselves.Buying the parts will only cost you a small amount of money. So if you have the ability to do it yourself you have another way to save more money. The method you will choose also depends on how handy you are.  But also depends on how much money you want to save.  If you choose to build a solar panel yourself you can save even more money. So those will be the two factors that people can choose on deciding which method they will use.

People will spend less even if they choose either of the two methods.  That is instead of having a full solar energy system installed. Of course having someone do all the work for you is always nice.It will be more convenient for you. But for some people the ability to make DIY solar panels is also very rewarding.

Solar Powered Energy vs Oil

October 5th, 2009

Oil is currently the biggest industry in the world, there are so many people chasing after oil, but one day it will run out and there is no doubt about this, so what will replace it you may ask? Personally I believe that it will be solar powered energy, so lets take a brief look at a few things that will be changed by solar powered energy.

Cars

Cars at the moment are probably the biggest environmentally damaging piece of equipment on the earth, I mean around the world there are millions of vehicle polluting the environment everyday and these vehicles all run on fuel and oil. But in the future we could well see cars power themselves by storing solar energy and to be honest we are almost nearly there, I mean look at the cars at the moment they are all becoming hybrid and full electric.

Commercial Transport

Once again we are already seeing this happen with the new electric driverless motors that have been introduced in Heathrow airport, so what is really in place to say that Aeroplanes and trains could not all become solar powered in the future. I mean that would also make these types of transport a lot safer.

Homes

At the present moment everything in our homes are powered by electric, crude oil and gas. In person I think that homes also anguish the environment a great deal. But does it actually have to be like this? Why not instead install energy captures on the roof of every house which then stores this solar energy into the generator which can then be used to power the home. It should also have a meter so that you know when to cut down on use if you are using too much. Solar powered energy could be the future.
