There are few of those that don’t charge you a thing and most people can’t seem to find them online but using Google you should be able to spot a good one with ease. When you get there you should be able to do a reverse search i.e. enter the details that you have and then get more information about that individual.

So like I said before, the more information you have about the person prior to your search the better. There are lots of people connected through the net. Just keep in mind that if you decide to do your search using the name only then chances of finding that person will be very slim.

Like I said there are many ideas on how to track a person, there are the white pages, the reverse directories and many other resources. It’s up to you to get intimately acquainted with the various ways and pick the most suitable for you.

Whitepages are other alternatives. It’s highly likely that you will encounter the same problem, of running into many people with similar names. You need to find ways of being able to narrow down your search.
