When people begin to do their landscaping they basically plan out what kinds of plants and trees they will have.It is what most people are familiar with most of the time.  But in this article we are going to go over a couple of trees most aren’t familiar with. And if you do choose these types of trees you will definitely be glad because most people do not know about them.

So the first tree we are going to look at are the foxtail palm. They are palm trees that have not been used widely. This is basically due to the mere fact that most people thought that they were hard to maintain. The reason for that kind of thinking was because it was assumed they only lived in a more tropical climates. While that is exactly true, there have been many growers lately who are getting them used to milder weather.Due to that more and more people are able to use them.

Another palm tree that falls into this category are the coconut palm tree.I say it falls into this category simply because once again people do not believe it will live in milder weather. But once again this is absolutely not the coconut palm that you are thinking about. The one people think about are the ones that are found on tropical islands. This is a sort of a hybrid and is definitely able to survive in milder weather.

With both these palm trees or any buy palm trees the key is learning how to care for them. With these two in particular you definitely want to ensure that you do not overwater them. That is the major cause of diseases. Also, you want to ensure that you have a good soil and fertilize if you need to.  If you do take good care of these palm trees you will get to enjoy them. You will be enjoying palm trees that not many people have and it will help your landscaping stand out and look great.
