Write Your Own Coming Out Stories

October 9th, 2009

Hiding feelings of sexual orientation are never easy to do, and something you shouldn’t need to do. But it’s something that many people will go through, in fact some people may never have their coming out stories to tell. Fear will hold them back forever.

It’s always hard to live a lie, one that you act like you’re another person. Someone who is interested in only one sex and the opposite sex only. But your real feelings have you being attracted to both sexes. You have to hide those feelings from the ones you love in your family and even your friends most of the time.

A person who is a churchgoer may frequently hear his brethren say that people who are not heterosexual should burn in hell. Imagine the fear that this saying alone will bring upon many, not only that but you would be sure to feel that these people would not accept you either.

Take a hint from those people and come out yourself. If people don’t accept them it is their lose, because they are missing out on knowing a great person. Someone who could enrich their lives so much more if they would only open up their minds.

For your coming out stories I say, go to the right people first, those you know are accepting. Those who will not judge you as a criminal or a person who is immoral. But as a person living a life of freedom and choices.

People with open minds are the best ones who will help and support your through your coming out stories. Those moments that look only bleak can be lighted by having them as friends. You never know where you might find them, but you can tell in the way they act. They are not the ones that judge people for how they are, but accept all people no matter what.
